The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
